Kindergarten visit to the KUZ - Youngest researchers in search of answers  

Together with the Sustainability Team, the children were able to participate and watch with their own eyes how plastic waste became toys.

Children like to discover and love to pursue their own questions. The "Alte Straße" daycare center in Leipzig, for example, asked itself:
What happens to our plastic waste? How can new things be created from it?

The Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH (KUZ) supports, among others, daycare centers in the immediate neighborhood in the practical teaching of educational content. This event was a variation of our RecyclingDay for under six-year-olds.

SPIN2030 Science Festival - Saxon research inspires

More than 50 research institutes and universities represented Saxony's excellent scientific landscape at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden on March 8 and 9, 2024. The first SPIN2030 science festival attracted 8,000 visitors, who were able to experience Saxony's wide-ranging and diverse research live on five floors, try it out and interact directly with the researchers.
