Professional events with diverse expertise

As a non-profit research institution, we attach great importance to the transfer of knowledge and technology from research to industry. To this end, we regularly offer various specialist conferences with thematically different orientations.

Various established event formats that we have developed over the years serve as an effective platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on current and future trends in the plastics industry.

"Knowledge Forum Plastics" with our partner Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology GmbH

21.03.2023 - in the KUZ

Increase productivity within your plastics process chain with optical 3D measurement technology. The Plastics Knowledge Forum event will show you how to detect errors in the production chain at an early stage, avoid time-consuming iteration loops, increase component quality and sustainably reduce costs. Exclusive insights into our work, a laboratory tour, live demos of manual and automated optical 3D measuring systems are on the program, as well as selected technical presentations.

Convince yourself of the advantages of optical 3D measurement technology - from reverse engineering in model and tool making to initial sampling and quality control during series production and along the entire process chain.

Register directly and exchange ideas with us about the technological and economic challenges in the plastics industry.

Plastics meets electronics

Electrical engineering and electronics (EEE), just like plastics applications, now determine a large part of our everyday lives. For this reason, the KUZ invites you for the second time to the symposium "Plastics meets Electronics". We will devote two days to the latest trends, highlight new possibilities in materials and methodology and, as with every conference in the "Plastics meet...." series, focus on practical applications.

The"Plastics meets..." series of events gives plastics processors the opportunity to expand their portfolio to include new fields of application. This annual event in Leipzig is accompanied by excursions and a trade exhibition. Companies, research institutes and local and national networks present themselves there and are available as discussion partners for the participants.
