Certified specialist for plastic injection molding

Due to the increasing shortage of skilled workers, companies are increasingly having to recruit employees from other areas or even specialist fields and qualify them for the tasks in their own company in the shortest possible time. The modular seminar provides compact basic knowledge of the injection molding process combined with comprehensive training on the injection molding machines. Participants thus acquire the ability to work consciously on the machines. With this in-service training in accordance with the qualification standard of the GKV/TecPart the graduates receive a qualification certificate that is classified below the vocational training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology. Plastics are highly interesting materials with further increased potential for product development. A multitude of requirements to which the product is exposed in the application must be reconciled with the most efficient processability possible and a limited cost budget for the material. This seminar explains some basic tools for solving this complex problem. The content of the seminar is to underpin the practical approach from material selection to the actual use of the product. Multi-component injection molding

Various special injection molding processes can be used to produce more complex components that not only offer cost benefits but also higher quality features compared to individual components, e.g. through increased functional integration. In the multi-component injection molding process, for example, composites can be created from several identical or different components. A key quality feature in the injection molding of two or more components is the adhesion between the different materials. For this reason, material selection and molded part design are particularly important.
