In our continuing education series "School-based Continuing Education", the KUZ offers two continuing education courses for teachers in the areas of elementary, regular, secondary, upper secondary and vocational schools as well as high schools. In addition to imparting theoretical knowledge, the events focus primarily on practice and practical implementation at schools.
RecyclingDay
Recycling only works if everyone participates. It is therefore important to make the recycling cycle understandable in practice, even for the youngest children. This motivation led to the creation of RecyclingDay with 4th grade students.
For several years now, the Plastics Center Leipzig has been cooperating with the North-East Chemical Association and the Chemistry Teachers' Training Center Leipzig/Jena. Every two years, numerous teachers from all over central Germany as well as Berlin and Brandenburg flock to the KUZ in Leipzig for the training event "Plastics - Material of the 21st Century".
