Rapid test method for the detection of beer spoilage agents

KUZ subproject: cartridge development - beer stick

Beer is a popular beverage worldwide. To ensure the quality of the beverage, the microbiology of the production process must be strictly controlled. In the BierStick project, a simple system for laboratory-independent molecular biological analysis of the beer is being developed.

In close coordination with the project partners and taking into account defined requirements, the KUZ will carry out the chip design under manufacturing aspects, provide prototype parts for initial functional tests and, in the later course, the BierStick as a test series, and investigate possible capping variants of the microfluidic surface of the chip.
