AI connects – quality prediction in ultrasonic riveting

The aim of this project is the fundamental feasibility study of an AI-supported process for the automation and technological optimization of process parameters in ultrasonic riveting. It is to be investigated to what extent algorithms from the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used to detect faulty settings and correct them if necessary. This will enable reliable predictions on the quality of the ultrasonic riveting process.
