WEBINAR: Compounding as the key to upcycling
Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH (KUZ) uses the newly developed additive SCONA TPPET 4214 PA from Byk-Chemie GmbH for the reactive compounding of post-consumer rPET. The increase in the property level enables the reliable processing of technical lightweight components.
The aim of processing the flakes is to increase the meltability as a prerequisite for a homogeneous foam structure and to increase the impact strength to the level of virgin material.
