WEBINAR: Compounding as the key to upcycling

Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH (KUZ) uses the newly developed additive SCONA TPPET 4214 PA from Byk-Chemie GmbH for the reactive compounding of post-consumer rPET. The increase in the property level enables the reliable processing of technical lightweight components.

The aim of processing the flakes is to increase the meltability as a prerequisite for a homogeneous foam structure and to increase the impact strength to the level of virgin material.

Seminar details:

Who and what?

  • Plastics recycling companies that specialize primarily in engineering plastics
  • compounders
  • Injection molding companies that compound their waste/recycling material themselves
Level: Fortgeschrittene
Speakers: Employees of Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH

You will receive a dial-in link via Teams approx. 5 days before the start of the event. Participation is possible via the Teams app or the web browser. You can optionally switch on the camera and microphone.

The webinar will be recorded by us so that we can pass on the event to interested parties afterwards. Your faces/names will be hidden in accordance with the data protection regulations.
