ReUp-3D-Printwaste

Re- and upcycling of 3D printing waste as filament

The main objective of the research project "ReUp-3D-Printwaste" is the re- as well as upcycling of printing waste, such as waste powder from selective laser sintering (SLS) and support structures, misprints from fused deposition modeling (FDM) printing, as well as their reuse in the form of filaments in the FDM printing sector (circular economy).

In addition, the project involves the combination of SLS and FDM waste, with the aim of providing application-optimized filament materials for 3D printing.
