Manufacture of a micro-optical aspheric lens for diagnostic applications in medicine
The KUZ realized the small series production of a very small micro-optical lens (diameter below 1 mm) made of plastic for diagnostic applications in medical technology on behalf of the customer Richard Wolf GmbH. Services of the KUZ were the design of the small injection molded part for micro injection molding, the creation of a tooling and manufacturing concept and its realization. The lens is manufactured at the KUZ in small series with an optical 100% inspection fully automated in the clean room.
