Through knowledge and technology transfer, innovative capacity and economic development in the field of sustainability are promoted. The KUZ sees itself as a partner for industry in bringing innovative and sustainable plastics technology solutions into application. The Fördergemeinschaft für das Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig e. V. (Association for the Promotion of the Plastics Center in Leipzig) has been providing sustained support for this cause for almost 30 years and also promotes the transfer of knowledge and technology between companies in the industry. The community of over eighty renowned companies brings together industry experts to identify, discuss and work on new topics and developments using collaborative research approaches.
