Plastics Testing

Issues to material applications and manufacturing processes of plastic products require detailed information on the material behaviour during their processing and application. Important questions can only be answered by the development of new test methods. Often required data for new materials and material combinations under specific loads are not available. In laboratory tests, the stress conditions of plastic mouldings have to be simulated. Based on these requirements, material and test engineering research topics in the test laboratory arise.
