Multi-Component Injection Molding
Various special injection molding processes can be used to produce more complex components that not only offer cost benefits but also higher quality features compared to individual components, e.g. through increased functional integration. In the multi-component injection molding process, for example, composites can be created from several identical or different components. A key quality feature in the injection molding of two or more components is the adhesion between the different materials. For this reason, material selection and molded part design are particularly important. In this seminar, we will teach you the basics of multi-component injection molding technology and show you technical solutions.
