In 2023, the PUR Forum will be dedicated to the topic of sustainability, an issue that is also increasingly coming into focus in the PUR industry.

On May 4, 2023, the event will be held under the title "Sustainability in PUR Processing."

The question of sustainability of products and processes has become louder and louder in all areas of life in recent years and has now been taken up by politicians and has arrived in the business world. The plastics industry occupies a special position in this respect. Spurred on by the discussion about packaging waste, the entire industry is in some ways in the pillory. The polyurethane industry is also facing the challenges of identifying and implementing solutions.

In our PUR Forum, we would like to provide an overview of framework conditions and evaluation criteria based on the challenge of the Green Deal and present interesting approaches to solutions for energy efficiency, recycling strategies and sustainable products.

The conference series "In Focus" is dedicated to changing topics with regard to potentials, applications and limits of specific technologies and materials. Electrical engineering and electronics (EEE), just like plastics applications, now determine a large part of our everyday lives. For this reason, the KUZ invites you for the second time to the symposium "Plastics meets Electronics". We will devote two days to the latest trends, highlight new possibilities in materials and methodology and, as with every conference in the "Plastics meet...." series, focus on practical applications. The"Plastics meets..." series of events gives plastics processors the opportunity to expand their portfolio to include new fields of application. This annual event in Leipzig is accompanied by excursions and a trade exhibition. Companies, research institutes and local and national networks present themselves there and are available as discussion partners for the participants.
